A515/A515M specification covers carbon-silicon steel plates primarily for intermediate and higher temperature service in welded boilers and other pressure vessels projects.
A515 Grade 65 steel tensile strength is 450Mpa to 585Mpa and the yield strength is min 240Mpa.

composition to meet the specified mechanical property requirements.
Now, in our mill practice, Gangsteel normally limits the maximum thickness of
plate is 300mm. the
delivery station is UT test, normalized and have to use the ingot to produce
it.
A515 Grade 65 heat treatment, if a515 grade 65 steel thick in 50mm or under this thickness, A515 Grade 65 normalized supplied in the as-rolled condition. If our customer requirement, we do normalized. If A515 Grade 65 thicknesses is above 50mm, this plate is normalized..
